In my free time, I have done 3d modeling in Blender 3d, TrueSpace, and a bit of PovRay. I have also messed around with rendering engines such as Yafray, Indigo, and Luxrender. I also make vector-based art, mostly for website themes. I also do some PHP coding, some C programming for DistRen, as well as a bit of tcl maintenance. I also maintain my two servers, zserver1 and zserver2, which both run CentOS Linux.

Over the years, I have also done computer work in a business environment. I have performed a full server migration for Camp Michawana, and provided them with a CMS-based website. I also performed support operations on various computers at Michawana. In addition, I also migrated a POS database from a workstation to a server at Brentwood Golf course, involving updating POS terminals with the new storage location and configuring on-site backups of the server. Most recently, I have been deploying OpenBravo POS at the art shop of the Huron Valley Council for the Arts. This deployment involved creating export-ready databases to work with the current financial management system, in addition to setting up a barcoding system for various items of merchandise.
